What Is Tarmacadam?
Tarmacadam is a surfacing material; the macadam method is to layer crushed stone with coats of tar to create a durable, solid surface. A top coat can be put over the existing macadam surface to improve water resistance, colour and the grip. Tarmacadam is extremely adaptable and is able to be used for almost any surface. The surface is laid and smoothed while the tar is hot, so it can be shaped and compacted to fit any space. Able to be coloured as you desire; there really is no limit to what can be done with quality tarmac.
